HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018!!! Hope everyone has had a good break spending time with family and friends. And hope those who are taking the MCAT are studying well and taking care of your body. You guys will be GREAT!!!
Based on many requests of yours due to class conflicts, our new meeting time will be on Thursday 5pm -6pm in the same room Ackerman 2408. For this winter quarter, we will focus on looking at different specialties and options in the medical field. Therefore we will have a presentation that briefly goes over some over these specialties for this week’s meeting!!!
The mentorship program applications will open again this quarter for mentees/mentors, and further details will be sent out after Thursday’s meeting. We are looking especially for more mentors, and feel free to spread the words to your friends who are interested in this mentorship positions. This is a great opportunity to build on your leadership and interpersonal skills for med school!!!
Hope everyone is studying well for finals and finishing up papers! If you don’t feel too motivated, it is okay to take a little break by taking a nap or hanging out with friends. We have all been there struggling with o-chem, history, or sleep-deprivation. But Christmas is RIGHT around the corner and we ALL can do it!!!
